Lego Wars™: Eminence
Flagship
Rules
1. All Robots must start within the designated
area. The designated area is called the Flagship. This is located
in the bottom right hand corner of the Lego Wars™ field.
2. If the robot is damaged and needs to be fixed, the team can
only repair the robot two times. If the robot breaks down after
those two repairs have been used than the run is officially
over.
3. Only two minutes are allowed for each run on the Lego Wars™
field.
4. Only two team members are allowed at the field during the
run.
Objectives
Pit of Doom
1. Robotic teams will receive a total of 10 points if they can
knock the Stormtrooper into the inner circle of the pit of doom.
If the robotic team can knock the Stormtrooper onto the outer
circle of the pit of doom, then they will receive
5 points.
Battle of Hoth
2. If the robot topples the AT-AT at the end of the Hoth Terrain
then the team will receive a total of 15 points. However,
the robot must go all the way across the Hoth terrain.
Destroy the Death Star!
3. If a team pushes the torpedo into the inner circle of the
Death Star then the team receives a 15 points. If the team
pushes the torpedo into the outer target circle of the Death
Star then the team will receive 5 points.
Battle of Naboo
4. If the team successfully gets the supplies into the Naboo
landing site, then the team will receive 15 points. For every
time the robot hits one of the obstacles surrounding the Naboo
landing site, 2 points is taken from the total score.
And if the robot avoids all obstacles surrounding Naboo then
the team receives 5 bonus points.
Fight the Separatists!
5. In the Geonosis arena, teams will receive a total of 15 points
if all the separatists are knocked down. 5 points are taken
off the total score if any Jedi or Republic Fighter is knocked
down.
Robot to the Rescue!
6. In the middle of the board, there is a group of
stranded Republic Fighters. The whole robot must go in the sqaure
perimeter surrounding
the people. Then, and only then, can the people be picked up.
The people may be placed on the robot by one of the team members.
After picking up the people, the robot can proceed with any
other objective, but to complete this objective, the people
must be brought back to base before time is up. This objective
is worth 10 points.
Bonus Objectives
1. Any robot that is within the flagship with
10 seconds or more left on the clock, those teams will receive
10 bonus points.
2. If a team can answer the Star Wars trivia question correctly
then that team will receive bonus 5 points.
Hints
1. We recommend that teams ...
a. use a robot with treads (for
Hoth)
b. practice remote control skills
(Maneuvering around Naboo and Geonosis Arena)
c. build a durable robot (to take
on the AT-AT)
